WELCOME CLASS OF 2019!!!
Memorial Service for Alum Dillon Mohammed
Please join us for a memorial service will be held for 2018 Alum Dillon Mohammed at Queens Campus Thursday July 11th at 7pm.
Dillon Mohammed
Born on September 12, 1996 and left us on June 21, 2019.
Dillon left us so he could be our guardian angel from afar. He left us with memories that only leads to laughter along with a broken heart.
He was his mother’s best friend, his father’s helping hand and his brother’s keeper. Anyone who grew to know Dillon personally knew that he was an extraordinary and selfless young man. He was and is loved by his parents, family members, best friends and friends.
At 22, he graduated from St. Paul’s School of Nursing with an Associates, passed his NCLEX, and claimed the title RN, and got his first job as a Care Manager with Centers Care Solutions.
He was the kindnest human being to be around, very honorable young man that had so much more to gave and share. His computerized brain cells and contagious smile were worth more than words can tell.
Dillon was cremated by Hindu rights on Monday 24, 2019.
In his memory his memorial card reads, “OM BHUT BHUVA SWAH TAT SAVITUR VARANEYAM BHARGO DEWASYA DEE MAHEE DIYO YO NAHA PRACHO DAYAT.”
“We meditate on the glory of the Creator;
Who has created the Universe;
Who is worthy of Worship;
Who is the embodiment of Knowledge and Light;
Who is the remover of Sin and Ignorance;
May He open our hearts and enlighten our Intellect.”
Let us all come together to show our love for Dillon by helping his family in their time of need.
This money will help to pay off Dillon’s school debt of $5000 or any other expenses the family had to encounter with the sudden lost of this beautiful soul we remember in memory.

"I was a 1975 graduate of CMC School of Nursing. That was before it became St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center. We were a 3 year diploma program. First year and last we lived in Immaculata Hall in Jamaica across from Mary Immaculate Hospital. Our second year we lived in an old convent building in Long Island City. We were bused in school buses to our different clinical rotations. We did our rotations at Mary Immaculate, St. John's Hospital in Elmhurst, St. Mary's Hospital in Brooklyn, Holy Family Hospital in Brooklyn and Creedmore State Hospital in Queens. We received our caps after completion of our first year. The cap was designed by the first class of students to graduate as CMC students. The cap was special and the back of the cap had three points, each point representing the three nursing schools that were combined to form CMC School of Nursing. The three schools were: Mary Immaculate School of Nursing, St. John's School of Nursing, and St. Mary's School of Nursing. I will say that the three years that I spent in CMC were some of the happiest years in my life and I have had a wonderful life!"
